NATIONAL INITIATIVES

 Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated and March of Dimes have a 50 year national service partnership. Eta Nu Zeta supports the partnership by participating in the Zeta Prematurity Awareness program in November and raising funds for the March for Babies walk in the spring.  

An 46-year-old partnership between Zeta Phi Beta and March of Dimes, Stork’s Nest is a community-based, prenatal, health promotion program for low-income pregnant women. The program is designed to promote prenatal care participation and healthy behaviors during pregnancy through two components-incentives and education. Stork’s Nest clients “earn” points toward incentives, such as maternity or baby care items, through a variety of positive, health-promoting activities; attending prenatal care appointments, participating in prenatal education classes, keeping appointments for well-baby visits,, etc. Thousands of women are serviced at Stork’s Nest all over the country every year. 

 Honoring those that are serving or have served in all branches of the armed forces. Recognition given throughout the year with a week long celebration surrounding Veteran's Day in November.   

Eta Nu Zeta supports the Myrtle Grove Elementary School by providing supplies, supporting the staff, and celebrating scholars.

 Designed to address the underlying issues in our communities: drive individual and community engagement; empower citizens to get involved; and cultivate a culture of mutual respect in our communities.

During its inaugural year, the program impacted 17,190 community members.

The NAACP is our primary collaborator on criminal justice and voter education, registration and protection efforts.

The American Advertising Federation, Executive Mosaic Council is a key collaborator on media diversity initiatives.
