Eta Nu Zeta Chapter Soror of the year

Soror Dawn Ferdinand has been a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated since Spring 1993. 

Dawn's entrepreneurial spirit and organizational skills shine through in her willingness to assist every committee and initiative with their graphics needs, and she serves on the PR committee and is the webmistress for the chapter website. Throughout her walk with Zeta, she has also served as chapter Secretary, New Member Coordinator, Fundraising Chair, Z-Hope Chair, Social Action Chair, Sunshine Committee Chair and Undergraduate Committee. She has also served as secretary of the NPHC-Phoenix Arizona Chapter. 

Dawn has a special heart and drive for mentoring and embellishing undergraduate and new members, to prepare them to express & experience their finest lives as Finer Women. 

Dawn is married to Marlon Ferdinand, a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity since Spring 1990, has one son, and 5 bonus children and 1 bonus grandchild. She works as an IT Project Manager in the hospitality industry.

Dawn is a native of Columbus, Ohio, and has lived in south Florida for more than 20 years. She has also lived in Georgia & Arizona. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in English / Pre-Law Track, and is pursuing an MBA in Project Management.
